Max Owen gave the family prayer in the Relief Society room. The invocation was offered by Dick Smith (grandson) Bernard Winkler was the 1st speaker; Norma Hansen sang; 2nd speaker was Glenn Goodrich (a nephew) of Bountiful; Norma Hansen, Norma Jessen and Rita Hansen sang, and Bishop Todd gave the obituary and remarks; Owena Johansen, Ann Stevenson and Carol Goodrich (all granddaughters) sang. All songs were accompanied by Garda Seeley (nelce). Benediction by Bruce Goodrich (grandson). Burial In Bluebell cemetary and grave dedicated by Blaine T. Kimball Salt Lake. She was bom Feb 7, 1890 to Levl-so- n and Emily Almira Man gum Hancock in Circleville, Piute Co. She was married to Leslie Bruce Goodrich Feb. 27, 1907 by Joseph H. Hardy In Hancock Cove. The marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple, Oct. 2, 1914. They traMina was veled by wagon. one of 9 children. She knew the hardships of pioneering. The Hancock family came from Southern Utah about 1905 to the Uintah Basin. Leslie and Mina were the first couple married here after the reservation was thrown open. They would have been married 62 years In Feb. 27, 1969, Mina and Les were always helping people especially the sick, she helped deliver 36 babies sometimes without any doctor. She would walk many miles as there werent any automobiles. One case where twins were born she walked to this home three times a day to help the new mother and babies.
