Oaks were honored at a reception held in the My-tElementary School Saturday evening. The bride is the former Vicki Abegglen, They were married Thursday, Oct. 10 in the Salt lake LD6 Temple In a double ring ceremony. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clark Abegglen, Myton and the bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Oaks, Vernal. The hall was decorated with arrangements of white yellow and orange flowers placed on tall .white pedestals. Tables were divided from the dance floor by garlands of ribbon and small flower arrangements. For her wedding and reception the bride wore a gown which featured a taffeta bodice with a lace yoke, long pointed sleeves, and a sweetheart neckline.
