As soon as the site for this building is definitely fixed plans will be prepared and bids called for, Officials of the Moffatt Tunnel have been in Washington the past week before the Interstate Commerce Commission urging the early construction of the Dotsero cut-of- f. If cut-off this is constructed it will reduce the distance between Denver and Salt Lake City 175 miles over the D. & R. G. W. R. R. Co. The consolidation of the Utah Woolen Mills with the Utah Woolen Mills Blanket Company with a capitalization of $500,000.00 has been formed. Bryant S. Stringham, General Manager has announced that a bonded wool warehouse will be built in connection with the Murray factory early this spring. Authorization to advertise the intention of undertaking a $27,159.00 curb, gutter and pavement program was made by the City Commission Thursday.
