Let us acknowledge to the world the great debt we owe them by wearing, every one of us, boy and girl, man and woman, on Mothers Day, a white carnation, the flower chosen as the symbol and emblem of motherhood, with its whiteness, symbolizing purity; its lasting qualities faithfulness; its fragrance, love; its wide field of growth, charity; its form, beauty. What an impressive and beautiful tribute to motherhood it would be for a whole nation to unite one day in wearing its chosen emblem, and, in song and speech and other appropriate exercises, to honor its mothers. I was bothered with blood poison in my arm for a year between my knuckles and my shoulder, which was as big as my body, and which I carried for a year. During that time I had medical attention with about 25 doctors covering a period of one year, and each doctor stated that I couldnt possibly live over ten days or three weeks. Finally I was treated and the blood poison was driven from my arm into my leg, and my leg was three times its normal size. I carried it in my leg for twelve years, and the poison went through my system and affected nearly every organ in my body, impaired my sight, I couldn't read, ulcered my stomach, and also affected my breath. I was furnished with oil by Mr. C. L. Bradford for thitry days, for which I paid him no money, and in this period I feel like a new man, the swelling has all gone down and it has been a godsend to me and my family. My wife was seriously bothered with her nerves, and after taking this oil for two months her nervous trouble has entirely cleared ur, Owing to my wifes condition my child was affected with this nervous condition when bom, and was subject to St. Vitus dance. He also used this oil and is feeling normal and perfectly well and gaining weight every day. I cannot express my gratitude for all that this oil and Mr. Bradford have done for me and my family. A. 0.
