The Monkey Talks, the feature picture for the week, shows where a genius disguised as a monkey makes a big hit in Paris. Small circus life is described, lovers quarrels and all woven into a sensational story which is quite different from the ordinary. Olive Borden is supported by a super cast in which Don Alver-adJane Winton, Malcolm Waite, Raymond Hitchcock and Jaques Ler-ntake important parts. Glynn Valjean & Co. present a Ring Carnival worth seeing. They take ordinary bicycle rims and perform all sorts of feats with them, even to making the hoops dance. They are very clever and have a good act. Janet Childs makes a hit with her impersonations of character songs and dancing, and crazy words to crazy tunes. James Kelly and Charles Forsythe trag-traged- y, o, er are two nuts who crack jokes, sing and dance in a pleasing way. The OBrien Sextette is a string and wind instrument orchestra that plays itself into popularity with classical and jazz music, and there is also some good singing. The six boys are able and accomplished musicians and they produce some very thrilling music. The Jesters is a laughter revue in which Larry Seymour, Val Irving, Teller Sisters, Chat Gorman and Joe Rock take the leads. Singing and dancing is featured by super artists who are appreciated. The Hearing by Miss Public is good. A graceful girl dances the Blackbottom, with just the trimmings, and the Chinese blackbottom danced by the chorus is pleasing. That famous and popular actor, Lon Chaney, will be seen in the feature picture next week, Flesh and Blood, which is said to be much better than The Mriacle Man. thing connected with the resort prepared for a large attendance, it is reported by Manager A. Special facilities for the kiddies are offered this year in a childrens free playground, containing a wading pool, eighteen inches deep, swings, teeters, miniature and bump-et-y bumps, all under shade and in the care of an adult attendant. These will be open every day.
