Show THE CITIZEN With the First Nighters THRILLING BILL PRESENTED AT THE PANTAGES THEATRE Pantages presents a high class picture and vaudeville bill for one week starting last Wednesday, and its a thriller from beginning to end with several notables appearing in some of the acts. Marion Davies, a great screen favorite, takes the lead, supported by Matt Moore and a good cast, in Tillie The Toiler. In a little she meets a rich man and has the chance to marry him but at the last moment remains true to her first love, a poor office boy. It is- a big sacrifice but love wins. It is a picture fllr-tatio- - n full of vim and pep and good comedy. Lillian and Henry Zeigler open the vaudeville. They present a series of and poses equilibrium balancing stunts of unusual merit and they, present themselves in a most graceful manner. Evans and Leonard are a pair of good comedians who sing, tell jokes, do some stepping and the audience gets a big kick out of their act. Lamberti is a whiz on the xylophone from which he pounds out popular and classical music, interpolated with a little comedy here and there. He is very good. Wm. A. Kennedy & Company present a very clever playlet in which fighting and fault finding neighbors patch up their differences by marriage. Danny and Molly are two young people who are in love, but op- posed by Mollys dad who appears to have no use for Danny. The latter finally outwits the sly old fox and then the old man goes him one better by marrying his mother, thereby creating a complete comer on marriage relationship. Danny is a popular tenor singer with a pleasing voice. Dad does some real Irish dancing and some good old Irish jokes are also told. Sid Lewis, nough said. The original nut is back here and appears crazier than ever and he is purchasing all the surplus straw hats in the city for his work on the stage. He not only spends more money for headgear than any other actor, but also tells some real whoppers and he is here with a bunch of new jokes and stories. He has brought a partner with him who sings and who is witty. Sid as usual has plenty of fun with the audience in getting their aid to help him earn his stage money. The audience gets the fun but Sid gets the mon, a very unequal division. Oh, yes, Sid also walks in without paying. Arthur Petley and Company present a sensational net act in which three men perform all sorts of trapeze stunts.
