It is an adorable romance, full of sparkling comedy and tense tragedy, with abundance of thrills and gorgeous scenic effects. It is a play which the theatre-goe- r never tires of and it is easy for any one to see it two or even three times in one week with the greatest of interest. It holds the audience in. rapture through the performance, and this stock company will surely do justice to this wonderful play. The first performance will be given Sunday evening, followed with a performance every day during the week' with matinees Thursdays and Saturdays. - As early as 1914 he won the Grand Prix de Roke with his cantata for mixed voices and orchestra and since Because of the heavy demand for seats for this production, the Cloninger players have arranged to stage a special holiday .matinee Monday afternoon, Armistice Day. All performances will be at regular Wilkes prices regardless of the fact that this production is by far the most expensive The grand opening of the Elks new home will be celebrated Saturday and Sunday, November 3 and 4, respectively, and the occasion will be one that will be long remembered. It will be one of the great events during the life time of 85, and all Elks should be present, bringing with them their friends. The doors will open at 1 p. m. and remain open until midnight. The Grand Exalted Ruler of tbe Elks lodges will arrive in the city Saturday, November 3, and he will be met at the depot with bands and colors flying. On Sunday, November 4, dedication services will be held commencing at 10:45 a. m. There will be no admission during the 11 oclock services. A large class of candidates will be Initiated between the hours of 3 and ever undertaken' in stock presentation. MARCEL DUPRE TO APPEAR AT TABERNACLE RECITAL. ' Marcel Dupre, organist at Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris, who will be heard in recital at the Salt Lake Tabernacle Thursday, November 29, has won fame not alone as one of the greatest living organists, but also as a 'composer of exceptional ability. - that time has written with success, not simply for the organ, but for voice, violin, piano chorus and orchestra. The committee in charge of the Salt Lake program has been given to understand that Dupre will include some of his own' compositions for the organ in his recital here, eminent critics having attributed to his work the brilliancy and color of the mod em French school, combined with due regard for the traditional forms of classic organ literature. ELKS 6 NEW HOME. p. m. A banquet to the Ruler and officers will be given at 7 p. m.
