There will be a gala time at Provo today when the United Commercial Travelers meet in convention. It is expected that over 15,000 visitors from all walks of life and hailing from all parts of the western country will gather here to take part in festivities and the barbecue celebrating the coming of the Bteel plant. John Black of Fillmore has arrived to take charge of the roasting of the beeves. Garratt S. Wilkin of the Cullen Ice & Beverage company of Salt Lake will start a fleet of trucks bearing Nekto. Gus Becker of the Becker Brewing company, will see that Be'cco is on the grounds. Whole truck loads of buns will be sent by the bakeries. While people in the east are fering from summer heat, the weather in this locality has been delightfully cool with a thunder storm about once in every twenty-fou- r hours. However, the managers of the various summer resorts have the blue3 because during this changeable weather period but few people will go to the resorts. It must be hot in the cities to drive the people out, but weather like we have been having makes one hug the stove. As a rule after the fifteenth of June the weather clears for the summer season and the warm days set in.
