Show JLitketSirri THE CITIZEN a gigantic Man presentation, Paramount-Artcraf- comes to the Frank L. George M. Paramou- dramatised Mr. Packards story, and for more than a whole year, The Miracle Man stage version was the central attraction on Broadway, New York. Along came George Loane Tucker with the picturization of the story. Before he could complete The Miracle Man he had expended more than half a million dollars in the making of the eight reels. The premiere showing of this great Paramount-Artcraf- t picture was given at the George M. Cohan theatre in New York. Capacity audiences were startled night after night. And now, in its fifth week, this mastodonic masterpiece is still thrilling and amusing packed houses. The Miracle Man will remain the entire week at the Paramount-Empres- s theatre. In addition to the picture itself, a huge prologue and epilogue will be staged. In the epilogue will be seen the prize winning babies of The Telegram contest. This means that the prettiest baby girls and boys in all Salt Lake City will be on the today. Few motion pictures have ever had the universal interest of the public focussed in the same manner as that which has attended the coming of this George Loane Tucker production. The Miracle Man is unlike ordinary photoplays. It is so far advanced in theme, in direction and in ' cast, that it really opens up a new era in the motion picture art. The picture is one full of thrilling situations delightfully combined with comedy of an unusual sort. Kerrigan is seen at his best and Miss Walker, she of the dimples and smiles, is happily placed in a role which she fills with artistic effect. The plot is full of interest. The Joyous Liar is a thrilling tale of adventure involving Burke Harlan, a young millionaire artist, and Anne Warren, a daughter of wealth. Harlan prevents a band of auto thieves from stealing Miss Warrens car. Harlan is arrested as the thief, but the charge is withdrawn when Harlan, out of mischief, consents to be a guest of the Warren household that he may be studied by Annes father, a Now Hear tHe AEOLIAN .
