Show 6a Dacwnbw STANDARD Grazing fee comments sought by agencies through next February 1. 1977 Proposed will regulations appear in the Federal Register November 23 which recommend adjusting grazing fees on federal rangelands up to fair market value over the next few years. The public will have until February 23, 1978 to make comments on the proposed regulations. Comments should be mailed to the - Director, Bureau of Land Management, Washington, D. C. 20240 or to Chief, Forest Service (2200), P. 0. Box 2417, Washington, D. C. 20013. Congress mandated a study of grazing fees in the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of October 21, 1976. Men charged in possession of marijuana Two young men, one from Roosevelt and one from Altamont. were arrested by Roosevelt City Police early Sunday on charges of possession of marijuana and carrying a loaded firearm in a vehicle. Richard E. Rasmussen, 18, of Roosevelt, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and carrying the loaded firearm in his pickup truck. Bobby Gene Harmon, 19, of Altamont. was charged with possession of a controlled substance. City police officers reported stopping the Rasmussen vehicle after observing it make the turn at Second North and Main in a reckless manner." The arrest report stated that as Rasmussen stepped out of the vehicle, the officers detected the odor of marijuana. A search of the vehicle revealed a cigarette suspected as murijuana, a pipe containing a small amount of suspected marijuana, and a plastic bag also containing a small amount of suspected marijuana. Three guns were found in the vehicle, including two rifles and a shotgun. One rifle and the shotgun contained expend ed shells but the third, a .22 caliber rifle, was loaded, the offirers said. Hie pair was arrested and hooked on the charges, and wen released on bond in the early hours of Sunday morning. The Utah Transportation Commission Is holding hearings on the proposed adoption of a 55 miles per hour speed limit. The hearings will be held as follows: Tuesday. Helen Allen now has equipment installed in the Altamont Beauty Shop and she will also work Fridays. Sharon Thacker came home from the Provo Hospital and is doing fine. Cleon Waterson passed away in Las Vegas about the 1st part of November. He was 59 years old. He spent most of his life here at his dads sawmill in the mountains. He is survived by a wife and 3 sons Steve, Gary, and Mack. He was buried at Las Vegas.
