Mr. and Mrs. Louie Galloway went to Salt Lake City where she attended a party Tuesday in honor of Hazel Ashton's 80th Birthday, Hazel is a former resident of Roosevelt They also spent Thanksgiving day with her son and family Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Harmston. Mrs. Merle Smith accompanied her granddaughter Myrlene Stansfield to Springdale, Utah to spend the Thanksgiving weekend with members of her family, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Young, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Karl Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Evans and family from Sandy, Utah, were holiday guests of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Albert Nielson and her sister and family Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Funk. Holiday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Drollinger were their son and wife Mr. and Mrs. Brent Drollinger from Salt Lake City and members of their family from this area. Other college students home for the holiday was Greg and Sue Lynn Taylor, Clayton Snow and Mike Peterson. n holiday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Rowley was her brother and wife Mr. and Mrs. John Black from Honolulu, Hawaii and a former roommate of Sallys, Danette Taylor from Ricks, College. Mr. and Mrs. Elvyn Bascom enjoyed a visit from their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Bascom from Layton and son Kent and Fiancee Karen Green from Pleasant Grove. Kent is attending college at the BYU. They all joined with other members of their family from the area for a Thanksgiving dinner and socializing. Mrs. J. M. Belisle from Many, Louisiana is visiting for a month with her daughter and family Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Moon. Sunday guests of Dicia Emert was her niece Josephine Diamanti and friend Marie Lockett from Salt Lake City. Mrs. Richard (Carla) Wedig and small daughter from Bellevue, Wash., were three day guests of her father and mother in law, Mr. and Mrs. George Wedig. Sallie Rowley motored to Rexburg, Idaho Monday where she visited with friends for several days. She was accompanied by a friend Danette Taylor. Mrs. Zelma Lloyd accompanied her daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. James Zobell to Salt take City to get their son and Wednesday grandson Jeff Zobell who is confined in the Holy Cross Hospital, to accompany them to Ogden where they all were Thanksgiving guests of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Zobell, Jeff then returned to the hospital. Zelma also visited her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Lloyd at Mendon. Dolores is originally from New York and David is from Oklahoma. They have two children. April and Gene Goodrich have moved into their new home in Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Goodrich and children from Bountiful spent the Thanksgiving holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Rae Goodrich and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Haslem. Julie Haslem and Phyllis McKee spent the holidays with their parents. Julie is attending Snow College and Phyllis goes to BYU. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Merrell and baby went to Richfield to spend Thanksgiving with Sue's parents. Kay Chapman went to Salt Lake Sunday, where she met her husband Roy at the Salt Lake airport. Roy, who is employed in Alaska, spent the holidays with his family. Mr. and Mrs. Milo Webb from Calif., are visiting at the taster Bartlett home. Milo, who is in the armed service, left Tuesday for Alaska where he has been Nina and children will remain at the Bartlett home for a few weeks until housing can he obtained for them at Anchorage. Mr. and Mrs. DeVon McKee have received a letter stating their son. Elder Morris R. Other are Mr. and Mrs. Dee Man waring of Provo and Iiouise Roberts of Myton. Kenneth, son of Mr. and Mrs. LaVell Asay, graduated from Primary last Sunday in Sacrament meeting in Ballard Church, lie also received his Duty to God award and was made a Deacon. Jessie Clark has returned to Calif., where he will have employment with Norman Rasmussen. Four new homes are planned on the road that runs north of Ballard Church. Visitors at the Lee Agniis home over the holiday weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Dal Seeley of Taylorsville, Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Ercanbrack and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Curry of Rocksprings. Telintha Rasmussen returned home Friday after spending 10 days in Calif., where she attended the wedding and reception of Joseph Rasmussen and Becky Radmall. They were married in the Iais Angeles Temple Nov. 23. Leslie Ann Rasmussen went with her grandmother to Calif. She was one of the bride's helpers at the reception. Mr. and Mrs. James Jex and baby from Spanish Fork were here with her parents, the Lynn Farnsworth's for the weekend. Kevin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Young, reported his LDS mission to Alaska in Ballard Ward Sacrament Meeting last Sunday. The Youngs are from Fruit a. Colo. Beatrice Lundherg returned home from her LDS mission in Calif. She spent 18 months there. Florrell Collins has been in the Duchesne County Hospital. She is now staying with some of her children in Rallard. They and their daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Garry Oswald from Evanston, Wyo., enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at the Larry Larson home. Earl Rasmussen is home from the Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, where he underwent a hark operation. Ballard Ward girl's volleyball team have won all of t heir games so far. The last game of the season was to he played Wednesday night, Nov. 30. s leader in that area. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Glines accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Glines to Las Vegas, Tuesday to spend the Thanksgiving holidays with the Kay Glines family.
