Hazing WMows -- Stans Doors --DOrtirs Windows , Phone 722-201- 1 Harold J. Jack Wimmer, 74, of Nine Mfie Canyon, died Saturday, Nov. 19, in a Salt Lake City hospital after a sudden illness. He was born July 31, 1903, atPayson to John David and Emma M. Cowan Wimmer. He married Lucille Wilcox on Feb. 28, 1927, at Price. He homesteaded in Argyle Canyon in 1933. He moved from Duchesne in 1939 to Nine Mile, where he has been a partner with his brother, N. L. Wimmer, in ranching. He was owner and president of Wimmer Construction Co. for a number of years. The company built such projects as the Sand Wash ReMrvoir, Pleasant Valley Canal Cut roads and locations for oil wells. He was past manager of Elaterite Mines for Carbozite protective coatings. He operated the Wimmer sawmill in 1951. He had served for many years as director and water master of the Rocky Point Ditch Co. He enjoyed big game hunting and outdoor sports. Survivors include his wife, of Nine Mile Canyon; sons and daughters Mrs. George. (Edith) Marett Duchesne, Leland Kent Wimmer and Mrs. Douglas (Jean) Bills, both of Salt Lake, Jack L. Wimmer . He attended Adams State College in Alamosa, Colo., for one year. He was employed as a drilling rig operator for an oil well service. Frank LaRose Frank LaRose, 53, of Fort died Duchesne, Tuesday, Nov. 15, at his home from apparent heart trouble. He was born Sept. 17, 1924, in Fort Duchesne to Thomas and Myrtle Yambutts LaRose. He married Mary Elizabeth Root but they were later divorced. He then married Rose Elmer Root and, after her death, he married Mary Sue Serawop. Survivors include his wife, of Fort Duchesne; a son and daughters, Sharon Wissiup of Eric LaRose Whiterocks, LaRose and Cindy Eker of Nev.; both Carlin, Eker, and three grandchildren; sisters Dwight brothers and Thomas and Copperfield LaRose Jr., both of Fort Duchesne, Marjorie Ridley of Farm Creek, Caroline Wanna and Delores Arrowchis, both of Whiterocks. Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 19, at 2 p.m. at the Whiterocks Episcopal Church with burial in the John Harmes Cemetery at Whiterocks.
