There are many factors to blame for this tragic situation, including its wide range of acceptance which prematurely condemns the physically and mentally sound along with the infirm, and thereby attaches the stigma of outworn usefulness to all. When this is combined with the natural of today's youth, little respect or companionship exists between children and their grandparents, to the detriment of both. Your Church will teach you to appreciate the wisdom of the old, referred to throughout the Bible. Honor your grandparents and listen to them. You may even find them fascinating, if you give them a chance.
