Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Claude Richens and STANDARD e should always endeavor to do what is right, With the rules of good conduct forever in sight; For we're taught that the Bible will show us the light, From the very first moment of birth. But although we're determined to go the right way, In the face of temptation its easy to stray; So the words in this message are meant to convey Some advice, for whatever its worth: If you'll go to your Church, it will help you to see That your words and your actions in every degree Are conducted the way you would want them to be In your very last hour on earth! Charles W. Whitehead 1 31 East Lagoon, 722-385- 1 722-243- By CeSa Rickses In an effort to raise needed funds the local VICA (Vocational and Industrial Gubs of America) chapter is cutting firewood to sell to the public. Those interested in having firewood cut for them can contact any of the VICA officers. Brent Mullins, Bob Peterson, Cliff Gilbert, Jeff Henderson, Chris Heaton or Garth Sorenson. Some of the club members and advisors enjoyed an outing to Pole Creek Cave and to the Ute Lanes Bowling Alley as part of the clubs holiday activities. Future activities will include the State Convention to be held April 5--6 where club members compete in individual field competition. Winners from the state will then be eligible to attend the National convention in Ohio in June. VICA club members urge the community to help support the club projects so that they can be well represented in both state and national competition.
