Neil Rittel of Duchesne and James Floyd Ames, son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Ames of Ioka were married June flow-lengt- at the First Baptist Church in Duchesne during a double ring ceremony. Rev. Carter Furrh performed the ceremony. Following the wedding a candle light ceremony with blue and white carnations and white daisies was the setting for a 19, reception. The bride wore a full organza, princess style gown featuring large insets of chimtilly lace in the sleeves, bodice, and in the chapel train. She wore an embroidered lace camelot, elbow length veil and carried a bouquet of blue and white carnations with baby breath. Karen Hughart, a sister of the bride served as matron of honor. She was dressed in a blue flowered floor-lengt-h dress. She wore a blue and white ripple brim hat and carried a bouquet of daisies. Young, Tabiona, are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathy to Val Oman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Orlan Oman, Altamont The engaged couple plan an August 13 wedding in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. That evening they will greet guests at a reception and dance at the Tabiona Cultural Hall in Tabiona. Kathy is a graduate of Tabiona high school the class of "74". She was active in chewleading and various other activities. She is a graduate of Hollywood Beauty College, Provo, and has been working in . Duchesne. Val is a graduate of Altamont high school class of 73. He was active in school activities. He attended BYU" for one year, then served an LDS mission to Central Germany.
