While there, they stayed at the home of Paul and Becky McCreery. Tamara and Wayne returned by air to Vernal early Thursday morning, and drove home to Duchesne. and Mrs. Hal Firth are Mr. entertaining Bill and Peggy Williams this week. The couple,are from Salt Lake, and began their stay in Duchesne last Wednesday. Mr. Oak Sanford attended a three-daschooling session in Denver for oil well drillers, sponsored by his employer. W. Stutz, to visit here during the Thanksgiving Mr. Chet Smith took some boy scouts to Provo Saturday to the Robert Alexander completes army unit training by Army Private Robert A. Alexander, whose wife, Winona, lives in Roosevelt, completed a new One Station Unit Training" (OSUT) program at Ft Polk, ta., Oct. 16. OSUT provides basic and advanced training with the same unit, on the same post. Pvt. Alexander is a 1973 graduate of Union high school, Roosevelt, and attended Utah Technical College in Provo. Mrs. Faye Giles and family visited Mrs. Jennie Jones over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Mike Curry of Centerville visited Mr. and Mrs. Mick Jensen Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Mallett and family spent the weekend visiting Mr. and Mrs. Jay C. Humphrey and family and Mr. and Mrs. Mick Jensen. Sunday the 5th Gayle Perry of Salt Lake and girl friend stepped in to visit his grandmother, Lillian Bigelow. She also had a nice visit with her grandson. Max Hartle and five children from Richfield, Utah. We forget about the cloudy skies when Isabel Roberts drops in for a visit. Sunday visitors of Harry Brown were his daughter Leona and husband Larry Richardson and friends, Mr. and Mrs. Lou Harrison of Vernal. On the 24th a birthday party was given for Lillian Bigelow by her daughters Lola Hullinger, Dana Hartle, and Nelda Wilkins. Yellow and chocolate cupcakes and punch were served. On Sunday Eliza Kolb's brother Cecil Chivers and Mrs. Chivers were visitors. We now have new laundry bins built Tom by Boyd Lemon and Tom Washburn. and Edna have ben visiting here from Ogden. Edna has been ill. Sandra Boren, a granddaughter of Lillian Bigelow, gave a birthday dinner for Lillian and her daughter Lola Hullinger for their birthdays. Two granddaughters from Vernal were there, Janet Gurr and Ranae Shiner, also Jo IJta Zufelt from Roosevelt. On October 14th the meeting was conducted by Alice Wall. Tissue dolls for the bazaar were finished. A story, Second Handed Piano" was given by Vivian Winterton. There were eleven residents present. On Oct. 21 the meeting was conducted by Adele Wall.
