Show 15 the new addition to Duchesne high school has started. The structure will cost $683,449 and will contain a new DUCHESNE on HIGH-W- ork Mrs. Lea Vasten Soon to begin in Duchesne, is a youth wrestling program. There is to be an organizational meeting for all interested youth and their parents, on October 22, at 5 p.m. at the elementary auditorium. Mr. and Mrs. McGuire, the former Ruth Berry were also visiting in Duchesne over the weekend. Miss Judy Thompson, visited with Mrs. Tom Jordan on October 4 and visited with other friends during the day before returning to Idaho where she now teaches. Boys from all over the state of Utah were competing and Kevin and Duane returned home with third place awards for their efforts in the individual events in their age groups. Mr. and Mrs. John Vasten spent Sunday in Salt Lake where they visited the Salt Lake International Airport and Hogle Zoo. Don't forget, school will be dismissed Monday, Oct. 21 for the deer hunt. Lois Behrmann, Reta Lott, Georgetta Ivie and Lily Wimmer, ladies of the Duchesne School Food Service Unit, attended their conference, held at the Cottonwood high school and the Banquet held at Rodeway Inn on Thursday October 10th. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Dorrity and little daughter DeAnna of Roy, were overnight guests of Elizabeth's mother, Mrs. Lily Wimmer. They were here for the funeral services of Mrs. Althea Nielsen.
