Show ELE CTION NOTI CE ELECTORS OF THE CITY OF ROOSEVELT, DUCHESNE COUNTY, UTAH: Please take notice that on the 9th day of July, 1974, an election will be held in the City of Roosevelt, Duchesne County, Utah, at the place set out below for the purpose of submitting to the Qualified electors of said City the following proposition: PROPOSITION Shall the City Council of the City of Roosevelt, Duchesne County, Utah, be authorized to issue the Water Revenue Subordinate Bonds of said City in the amount of not to exceed Four Hundred Sixty Five Thousand Dollars ($465,000), for the purpose of defraying part of the cost of acquiring and constructing improvements, additions and extensions to the City's existing water system, said bonds to bear interest at a rate or rates not to exceed Five percent per annum, to be due and payable in not to exceed forty (40) years from the date of said bonds, to be payable solely as to principal and interest from the net revenues to be derived from the Citys water system, to be in all respects subordinate and inferior to the lien on the said net revenues of the City's $160,000 Water Revenue Bonds, Series June 1, 1951, authorized and issued pursuant to City Ordinance dated June 1, 1951, ana under no circumstances to be an indebtedness of the City within the meaning of any State constitutional provision or statutory limitation nor a charge against the general credit or taxing powers of the City? Said election will be held at the following places and the persons indicated as follows will act as election officials: Voting District 1; Polling Place, Civic Building; Election Officials, Mrs. Laura Killian. Voting District 2; Polling Place, City Hall; Election Officials, Mrs. Loyal Perry. The polls shall be open between the hours of 7:00 o' clock A. M. and 8:00 o clock P. M. There is to be no special registration of voters for such election and the official register last made or revised shall constitute the register for such election, except that the County Clerk of Duchesne County will register at his office during regular office hours, except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays ana except during the ten-da- y period immediately preceding the bond election, any person who on the day of election will be a qualified elector and will register such persons as provided by law. The County Clerk will make available or will cause the d registration agents to make available at the polling place a registration list or copy thereof listing all registered electors entitled to use such voting place. Notice is further given that on Tues., the 16 day of July, 1974, that being within ten days after said election, the City Council will meet at its regular meeting place in the City of Roosevelt, Utah, at 8:00 o'clock P. M., and canvass the returns and declare the results of said election. Given by order of the City Council of the City of Roosevelt, Duchesne County, Utah, this 28th day of May, 1974.
