Ferguson Continued from page Continued from page 3 E.R.A. Would Establish Another Huge Agency There is little doubt that, should E.R.A. pass, another huge federal agency would be created. It might be something like Administration of Womens Rights, or something like that. And that agency, no doubt, would have its appointed bureaucrat-legislator- s who would get right to work passing all sorts of laws which would entangle almost everyone in problems from marriage to employment to everything else. For example, it would give the federal government just another excuse to dictate to an employer who he could and could not employ and who he could and could not promote. In other words, E.R.A. would be, effectively, another step toward total federal control of industry and property. With this in view, it is easy to understand why President Nixon appointed Anne Armstrong to promote the E.R.A. and even gave her space and a staff at taxpayers expense to do so! And it is easy to understand why Jerry Ford has followed Nixons footsteps in pushing E.R.A. Liberation really isnt the answer, girls its power to the politicians! BANKERS INTERNATIONAL AND BIG BUSINESS PUSH WORLD GOVERNMENT In the June 1972 issue of OPINION AMERICAN magazine Gary Allen, in an article entitled The World Government That Already Is", briefly discussed James Warburg, scion of the international banking family which was principally responsible for the creation of the Federal Reserve System that controls our money, and which also financed Lenin and Trotsky from its New York and Frankfurt er operations." On February 17, 1950 Warburg told a committee of the U.S. Senate: We so-call- ed DUNMOVIN ed technological, sovereignty economic and political interests are forcing them to establish more and institutions to more CFR-memb- TRUTH Vol. 4, P. 220 better.A strategy an end run around national sovereignty, eroding it piece by piece." He predicted that such an approach is likely to get us to world order faster than the frontal assault." Gardner then went on to say: "The hopeful aspect of the present situation is that even as nations resist appeals for world government' and the surrender of have world shall government whether or not you like it by conquest or consent. In the aforementioned article Gary Allen declared: "The reality of socialism is that it is not a movement to divide the wealth, as its super-ric- h promoters would have us believe, but a movement to consolidate and control wealth. people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Two-thirof the worlds largest corporations are headquartered in the United States almost all of have seen ds a one-wor- ld super-stat- e under their control. Roy Ash. Nixons chief of the Advisory Council on Executive Organization, spelled it out clearly on May 18. 1972 in a speech before the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce. According to Ash: "Increasing economic and business interdependence among nations is the keynote of the next of world decades two husiness...decades that willseema-fo- r steps toward a single world economy evolve out of today's increasingly interacting, but still separate, national economies. Individual national economies will melt into a single world economic system.... "A single world economy is that higher order of integration for the decades ahead..." And then arrogantly demanding the price the United States must pay to achieve this single world economic system," Ash declared: "Some aspects of individual sovereignty must he given over to supra-nationauthority.. .in embracing all the countries of the world. " In his context, when Ash uses al the individual words sovereignty", he, of course, refers to the national sovereignty of the United States and the rights of individual persons as guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution. Who arc these multinational corporations who are. in essence, seeking to sacrifice the national sovereignty of the United States on the altar of their greed for profit and world power? Many multinationals operate in more than fifty countries and derive from twenty-fiv- e percent to more than fifty percent of their income from sales outside the United States. Included in this list arc such giants as International Telephone & Telegraph (ITT). Standard Oil of New Jersey (Exxon). National for international automotive operations, as stating: We dont consider ourselves basically an American company. We are a multinational company." And then Fords Mr. Stevenson continued: "It is our goal to be in every Iron single country there is. Curtain countries. Russia, China. We at Ford Motor Company look at a world map without any boundaries. " THE RED LINE newsletter, published by the Cardinal Mindszenty Foundation, in its January 24. 1974 issue quoted M oscows INTERNA TIONA L AFFAIRS as having compiled a list of the Kremlin's favorite U.S. trade partners. First on the list was Occidental Petroleum, headed by U.S. oil tycoon Armand Hammer, friend of the Soviet a long-tim- e Union and son of one of the major financiers of the U. S. Communist Party in its early days. Among the other U.S. companies favored by the Soviet Union are: International Harvester. Caterpillar Tractor. Westinghouse Electric. U.S. Steel, Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical. Reynolds Metals. Alliance Tool and Die. and Pcpsico. which will soon introduce millions of Russians to the Pepsi generation". And. of course, U.S. banks are in the forefront of this drive for a new economic order". NEWS & WORLD REPORT of December 4. 1972 reported that: Ten years ago, only a handful of the largest U.S. banks mostly based in New York had offices abroad. Today more than 100 banks all over America have about 5 75 foreign branches. Total assets offoreign branches reached ahnost $70 billion on June 30, 1972, nearly 10 times the roughly $7.5 billion of mid-196according to a new study U.S. the Federal Reserve by U.S. 5. Board.
