The new firm will lie known as the Burns & Bird Co., and the principal members are W. J. Burns and E. II. Bird, both of whom were until a few weeks ago associated with the Milford Lumber Co. Iu is the purpose of this Arm to carry a complete stock of Implements in connection with the furniture business. All the furniture snd hardware tock of the Milford Mercantile Co. has been taken over by tlie Burns & Bird Co. and this stock will be added to and made complete in every way. Royal Brand New Incline Shaft at the Utah United Copper Co.'s Property Eighth Grade Graduates The eighth grade graduates of the Milford school completed their work this week, passing the state examination with good marks. Owing to the delay in getting the questions the class was held in school one week longer than the other rooms. Altho but five there is reason to be proud of them even- - tho they are few in numbers. Two of the five never missed one day during the year, Walter Vincent and George Ediemann, the latter never being tardy or absent Kdtes I during the nine months. Those of the graduating class were: George Ediemann, Waiter Vincent, Harold Harrington, Harold Blake and Jennie Elawick, and this class graduates with as high honors as any class in the county. Every member of the class received 100 per cent in the final examinnthn in arithmetic. An interesting meeting of the iocal Odd Fellow lodge was held last Saturday night at which tima candidates were initiated in the first degree. Tomorrow night the first and second All members degrees will be pnt. are requested to be present and all visitors are welcome. School closed in all grades hut the eighth and ninth last week.
