Show o s it p C2 i lAt b LIFE llW L Dm is County Clipper District gala honors business partners Senior citizen events A gala event sponsored by the Davis School District Foundation and the Layton Hills Mall to honor school business partners was held at the Marriott Hotel on April 19 and was a resounding success Over 400 guests entered the ballroom where over 70 artworks and original finger paintings to the baskets of prizes including trips were available for bidding String cious meal with entertainment ensembles and vocal groups provided entertainment while silent bidding proceeded Countys most talented students Many of Utah's outstanding artists had donated to the silent auction which was chaired by local artists Rebecca Hartvigsen, Jan Boardman, and Shelia Mavin Contributing artists included Kirk Randle, Nancy Lund, Norma Forsberg, Steve McGinty, Anton Rasmussen, Lee Parkinson, Larry Wade, Diane Turner, Jan Richins, Melanie Swann, Roger Cushing, Jane Bush, Lester Lee, Ann Mane Obom, LaRae Moosman Other significant donations that were auctioned off included king size mattress sets from R C Willey, a garage door opener from Martin Doors, a Steve Young autographed football and original a Utah Jazz signed basketball and other Jazz souvenirs.
