West Temple, Salt Lake City, can participate in hands-o- learning activities n designed for families with children between the ages of 5 and years This day coincides with 1 Human Rights Day, a school holiday in all Salt Lake and Utah Valley public schools. A variety of fun and educational activities will be olfered to help children learn about the Mormon pioneers who entered the Salt Lake Valley 150 years ago. Children will view a puppet show about handcart pioneers, play pioneer games, and listen to pioneer storytellers. They'll make a sego lily pinwheel, a pioneer greeting card, a handcart paper chain, and a top that spins. They will also be able to view a new exhibition featuring hundreds of works ol art about pioneering created by children from all over the world Reservations are not required.
