They have installed $20 million in fiber optic cable on the Wasatch Front Right now they are extending as far north as Ogden The fiber optic cable is placed either under or over ground as each city dictates.. The council has scheduled the meetings for 7 p.m. each week on Wednesdays unless otherwise advertised or posted. The first Wednesday is scheduled for a study session if needed, and the third Wednesday can be used for the Redevelopment Agency. The second and fourth Wednesdays will be for regular meetings. We are required by state law to approve an annual meeting schedule and then to post it for the year, City Manager Tom Hardy said. We have met for years on Wednesdays but it could be changed if you (council) want to. The council voted in favor of keeping the established schedule in place. The council will also not hold regular meetings on Wednesdav luly 23 (Handcart Days), Wednesday, Nov 26 (the day before Thanksgiving), and Wednesday.
