Together weve raised five John S. Carl BOUNTIFUL John S. Carl, age 77, passed away on Dec. 22, 1996, after a long illness. He was bom on April 14, 1919 in Britt, Iowa to Lyla Gifford and John Carl. He married Estelle Lois s, 11 of He retired as a long-hatruck driver after 45 years. He was friend to ul everyone. He is survived by his wife, Lois; 1900 in American Fork, Utah, a daughter of Eterick Millar and Emily Agnes Wadley. Emerett married Mark Fackrell LOGAN Merrill Levi Black. 75, died Saturday, December 28, 1996 after a battle with cancer in the Logan Regional Hospital, with his family by his side. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main. Friends may call on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the mortuary and again on Saturday morning one hour prior to services. Interment in Bountiful City Cemetery. the American Legion Auxiliary, Daughters of Utah Pioneers and of the Lewiston Literary Club. Solemnized in Salt Lake Temple on their first anniversary. He preceded her in death Oct. 13, 1964. After 33 years apart, what a joyous reunion they had for Christmas. Resident of Beaver, Hollywood, Payson, Salt Lake City, and recently of Bountiful. Veda was happiest when serving others. Served in Salt Lake Temple 23 years, active in the LDS Church, civic groups and genealogy. Lived in Salt Lake City 35 years. Member Salt Lake Mothers Club and Knife and Fork Club, President Payson Yeshereh Club. She is survived by three children, Judith (Arlo) Hyde, Farmington; directors. children, sons: Wendell (Priscalla) Wiser, Bountiful; Farrell (NaDene) Wiser, Centerville, Utah; Cordell (Ruth) Wiser, Long Beach, Caht.; daughters, Maretta (George Lowry) Livingston, Clearfield, Utah; Cara Lou (Lee) Vance, Salt Lake City, Utah; Maxine (the lute Charles) Cummings, Orem, Utah; and Louise (Ki) Kiholm, Camino, Calif.; 41 grandchildren, 98 great grandchildren and 25 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shirley Orchard, an infant son, an infant daughter and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at p.m. on Friday, Jan. 3, 1997 at the Lewiston, Utah 4th Ward Chapel. Family and friends may call at the ward chapel on Friday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of services.
