The friends are John Pruitt, a business teacher at Richfield High School, and Lee Christensen, who teaches at Salina Elementary School. Theyve known each other in education circles, as neighbors, and as fellow officers . in the Utah National Guard. It ail started because both of them are such splendid Guardsmen. First, one received Soldier of the Quarter, then the other did. That put them in competition - "S state. This contest involves top Guardsmen from units throughout Utah. They are judged on general military knowcurrent ledge, events,, and service to their communities and professions.
