Marie Smith Layton Don't drive vehicle over fire truck hoses Review editor Id like to inform a few citizens about something important that until recently I was not aware of. A mobile home in my trailer park caught fire. My home is located on the opposite side of the same road, down approximately ' - 85 ft. from the fire. The hoses were blocking the entire road, however the fire had been extinguished. I sat for a few minutes in full . view of the firemen debating whether or not I should drive over the hoses to reach my home only 30 ft. away. I made the sad mistake of driving over them. I was confronted by an angry fireman who told me if there was a police officer there hed have me arrested and thrown in jail. Since that time I have spoken with 20 or so people ranging in 0 who were unaware of ages this also. . My purpose in writing this letter is to inform the public that such a law does exist.
