After a wedding trip to Oregon, the couple will make their home in Layton. Brown - Jensen The former Sydney Ann Brown and Kerwin L. Jensen were wed Wednesday, July 31, in the Jor- - dan River LDS Temple. The brides parents are Mr. and Mrs. Garry Brown of Genola, Utah. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. LaMoyne M. Jensen of 4976 S. 2275 W Roy. A reception was held July 31 at Santaquin, Utah and an open house on Aug. at Roy Central Stake Center honored the couple. Attending was Suzanne Ewell as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Belinda Brown, Annette Jensen, Amy Jensen and Wendy Brown. Performing best man duties was 1 Kent Jensen. A wedding trip to Yellowstone Park was taken by the newlyweds. The will live in Roy. Jensen is employed by Weber School Dis- trict. He graduated from Roy High School and LDS Seminary, and attended Ricks College. He completed a Montana Billings mission for the LDS Church. The bride is a graduate of Payson High School and LDS Seminary and a graduate of Ricks College with a degree in professional child care. Open House Set for Couples Anniversary The daughters of Luke S., and Hattie Charlesworth Johnson will honor their parents at a surprise open house celebrating the couples 50 years of marriage. The event will be held Friday, 0 Aug. 16, from p.m. in Room 1100, Smith Family Living Center on the Brigham Young University campus in Provo. Johnson, son of Elizabeth Maxwell Johnson and Mark A. Johnson, was born in Clover. Utah Mrs. Johnson was bom in Murray, Kentucky, the daughter of Kittie Adams Charlesworth and James E. Charlesworth. The couple was married April 4, 1935, in Tooele. The marriage 7:30-9:3- LUKE AND HATTIE JOHNSON was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They lived in various towns, including Stockton, Ophir, Tooele, Kanosh, West Point and Layton, and in Burley, Declo and OroFino, Idaho. Their daughters are Geneva Phillips, of Reedley, Calif; LaRae Frew, of Hooper; Sharon Neilsen, Orofino, Idaho; Berdene Jones, Wasilla, Arkansas; and Lonna Heaston, Billings, Mont. Park in the Weber State College parking lot, just north of the Stadium, and walk to the start at the Par Course on Skyline Drive. A stretching clinic will start at 6:30 p.m. The race ends at Mt. Ogden Park where participants will be served a light dinner, A shuttle bus will be provided for the return ride to the WSC parking lot at the end of the race.
