Worcestershire sauce bunch romaine lettuce One 8 oz. can water chestnuts, thinly sliced Vi C cooked, crumbled bacon 3 hard cooked eggs, peeled and Start your Easter feast with - Green Spring Salad a tasty toss of fresh romaine .lettuce, water aside. Wash romaine lettuce, tear and place in a salad bowl. Add chestnuts, crumbled bacon and other special ingredients. Topped with a tangy dressing of oil and water chestnuts, bacon and egg. Pour dressing over salad mixture and toss until well mixed. Serves vinegar sweetened with frozen apple juice, its a refreshing way to begin the meal. Follow with a main course of candied yams and glazed ham. 8. Candied Yams yams, medium size C (6 oz.) frozen apple juice, thawed ' C butter Place yams, in a large saucepan and cover with cold water. Cover and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to simmer and cook for about 25 minutes or until yams are tender. Drain and .let 5 Candied Yams keep calories within reason by baking with frozen apple juice instead of the usual rich brown Sugar. Green Spring Salad C oil C (6 oz.) frozen apple juice, thawed cool to room temperature. Meanwhile, place apple juice concentrate in a small saucepan. Heat concentrate until its reduced by half, remove form heat and add butter. Peel cooled yams and cut slices. Place slices in into square casserole and mixture over yams. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.
