Wheeler Memorial Scholarship and a general scholarship to Nanette Hix for 1984-8Nanette Hix is the daughter and stepdaughter of Thomas and Daisy (Anaya) Holt, 1206 W. 1350 S., Syracuse, and the daughter of Gayle D. Hix, Atlanta, Ga, Nanette will be a freshman at Gallaudet College, Washington, D.C., a college for the deaf. She is currently Miss Deaf Utah and just returned from Miss Deaf America Pageant competition with 35 girls in Baltimore, Md. She was a guest at Miss Deaf Idaho Pageant in December and also at Miss Utah Wheelchair Pageant in June. For the summer, she is employed at Hill Air Force Base. 5.
