Girls summer activities has been scheduled for Clinton youth, according to Rochelle Wallace, city recreation director. The annual Junior Olympics sponsored by the Hersheys TOM ANDERSON OSTER DYLAN MARK HANNI RICHIE WEST Chocolate Company, featuring all track and field events, will be one of the most important events of the summer. Youths ages 9 through 15 are encouraged to attend the sports clinics to prepare for the city meet which will be held at the Clearfield High School track on t June 30. The first clinic will be held on June 2 at Greenspan Park in Clinton. Winners of the city meet will participate in the state meet and winners from that competition will go to Hershey, Pennsylvania for the national meet. Three cub scouts from pack 333 Den 5 in South Weber have completed all the requirments to be awarded the Arrow of Light. Among them is Richie West, son of Karr and Jackie West, 7359 So. 1700 E. Richie participates in basketball and soccer and is in the fifth grade. Also, Mark Hanni, son of Wayne and Jana Hanni, 1 525 E. Canyon Dr., plays baseball and is a fifth grader at South Weber Elementary. Dylan Oster, son of Wayne and Kathy Oster, 1643 E. So. Weber Dr. is also a recipient of the Arrow of Light. He collects Star. Wars figures and enjoys playing soccer. He is in the fifth grade. Pack 333 Den 5 troop leader is Karr J. West. Tom Anderson, 11, son of Tom and Chadley Anderson 241 S. Glen, Farmington, received his Arrow of Light, the highest award in Cub Scouting. Tom is a member of pack 603 in the Farmington LDS 3rd Ward. He is a fifth grade student at Farmington Elementary. Tom enjoys reading, science, all sports, recycling newspapers, playing the piano and building model space craft. Two Cubs in the Syracuse 3rd LDS Ward have received the Arrow of Light". They are Wade Stoker, 10, son of Sid and Jerry Stoker of 2097 S. 1000 W., Syracuse; and Cory Cook, 11, son of Glen and Deana Cook, 507 W. 2700 S., Syracuse. Both Cubs are fifth grade students at Syracuse Elementary School and are members of Pack Light. He is a member of Pack 373. Aerospace Park is scheduled June 1. The park, along with the planned Hill AFB Museum, is expected to become a major free tourist attraction in northern Utah. The public is invited to join local military and civic leaders for the groundbreaking at 1:30 a.m. The site is near the Roy Gate (exit 341 from which will be open for the ceremony. The Air Force Heritage Foundation is spearheading fundraising efforts for the aerospace park and museum, which will be funded through donations, a membership program, sports tournaments, brick sales, a Lagoon family day and other activities.
