Show O'1 i. Kaysville Couple Open House Dated For 80th Birthday Carried 50 Years KAYSVILLE Clarence and Geneive Meacham of 417 N. 350 E. Kaysville, will be honored Saturday, May 19 for their 50th wedding anniversary. They will greet friends and relatives from 6 until 9 p.m. at the Kaysville Crestwood Stake Center, 55 N. 100 E. They were married May 15, 1934, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was born Oct. 10, 1910, in Logan, a son of Darwin Elisha and Lilly May Rogers Meacham. She was bom Jan. 27, 1913, in Woodruff, a duaghter of John Melvin and Rosabell Hoggan Putnam. They lived in Rock Springs, Wyo., for eight years where Meacham was employed by Johnson Furniture Co. and the railroad. They then moved to Gering, Neb., while he continued to work for the railroad. This was followed by a move to Bountiful Utah for a short time, then to Layton, where they lived for 14 years while he worked for the Naval Supply Depot. They then moved to Kaysville where they have resided for the last 24 years. Meacham worked for Sperry Utah 194 Lakeside Review North, Wednesday, May 16, Co. for seven years and for the Ogden Defense Depot for the past 16 years where he is still employed. The Meachams have been active in the LDS Church. He served a mission to the North Central States before marriage. He has served in the Scouts, Sunday school stake presidency, stake mission presidencey, as Sunday school inservice leader and as branch secretary. She has served in the Primary for 422 years as president, secretary, organist, chorister, teacher and stake inservice leader. She has been Young Womens president, Relief Society president and Sunday school nursery lead- CLEARFIELD A family open house will be held Saturday May 19, from 4 to 8 p.m. to celebrate the 80th birthday of Orland L. Fackrell. The celebration will be held at the home of his daughter, Shirley Lewis, 220 N. 300 E., Fackrell was born May 20, 1904, in Randolph, Utah. He is the son of John Dempsey Fackrell and Luella Vilate Belcher. ,)f He had six brothers and six sisters. He was raised in Trenton, Utah. He married Mae Rigby Oct. 2, 1922. They have lived in Clearfield 42 years. He retired from er. They are the parents of seven children, Mrs. Salomon (Melba) Ortiz; Mrs. Quhid (Laura) Izatt and Mrs. Lavar (Mary) Taylor, Layton; C. Russell Meacham, Rawlings, Wyo.; Walter M. Meacham, Kaysville; Mrs. Brent (Martha) Parker, Clinton, and Mrs. Don (Colleen) Grant of West Valley City. They also have 41 grandchildren and 18 great grand children. It is requested that gifts be omitted. HAFB in Quality Control Laboratory May 1, 1970. He is active in the LDS Church. He served five missions, served in many positions including Bishop of the Clearfield Sixth Ward and as a sealer in the Ogden LDS Temple.
