' West Mountain residents are very happy to know that Angie Kenison, daughter of Mrs. Walter Kenison who formerly lived at West Mountain, was a winner in a recent Utah County Farm Bureau Talent Find in the intermediate division. Angie is fifteen years of age and she presented Impromtu by Schubert as a piano solo. The contest was held at Spanish Fork and talent was presented from Lehi on the north to Nephi on the South. Room mates at the BYU in the year 1945, Evelyn Ekins and Mrs. Dean Rains of Palos Verdes Estates, California, enjoyed a brief visit Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Rains and family visited with Mr. and Mrs. Reed Ekins and family a short time. They were on their way to Colorado. Diane, their daughter, will attend the BYU this year. Dennis Bishop, son of Angus The little ones and Mae Bishop, is suffering from a gun shot wound in his leg. The accident happened on Friday. Dennis is preparing to attend Snow College this fall semester. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Smith (Geraldine McBeth) and four children, Kelly, Leslie, Kathy and Melanie, of Fullerton, California left Monday for their home after a very enjoyable two weeks with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert McBeth and Mrs. John Smith of Salt Lake. Special socials held was at Saraa family toga and dinner at the Home of Mr. and Mrs. Max McBeth of Tooele. Melanie and Leslie also celebrated their 8th and 13th birthdays at their grandparents.
