Camp Peleefneel Peteetneet Camp, Daughters of Utah Pioneers, met Thursday afternoon at the First-Fift- h LDS ward church, with a E.. Hales, captain, in charge of the meeting. Singing of pioneer songs was under direction of Mrs. Vera Francom, with Mrs. Mary H. Wyler at the piano. Prayer was by Mrs. Ella Cowan, and salute to the flag was led by Mrs. Francom. A history of pioneer Isrial Dodge Allphin and Susan Erne-lin- e Dameron was read by their granddaughter, Mrs. Ella O. Anderson. NT Mr. George Eckersley returned home Monday after in El Paso, Texas, visiting with (her daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Payne and children, whom she accompanied home after they had attended LDS Quarterly Conference in Salt Lake City. Enroute back to Pay-soMrs. Eckersley stopped at Phoenix, Ariz., where she visited with another daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Val Carter and children. SEVERAL VANITIES OF CHICKS OFFERED AT The Spring Lake Ward Cub Scouts, Pack 97 den one and two were organized in February with) leaders, Paul Benner the Club Master and Bob Weil the assistant Club Master. Arrangements and membership committees, Dee Adams, Finance committee, Dale Butler, and achievement committee, Charley Twitchell. The boys in den one are: Kent Adams, Rex Butler, Nielsen, Blair Jacobson, Del Twitchell, Robert Weil, Dale Miksell, Craig Lundell and Brent Lyman. Mrs. Wilma Weil is the Den Mother. Boys in den two are: Randy Butler, Jimmy Christopher-soDoug Mousseau, Keith Twitchell and Mike Hendrickson. Mrs. Nina Benner is the Den Mother. They hold their den meetings once a week on Friday night. The Pack meeting is held on the last Friday night of each month. During February each 'boy and his family made a large map of South America and South American costumes, for the pack meeting. They put on a skit and displayed the articles they had made. For the, March Pack meeting they displayed trains they had made and put on a train skit. Their excursion for Mar. was a ride on a Domeliner from Provo to Thistle. 24 boys and parents participated. For the April excursion they went to Provo Air Field where Merrill Christopherson, gave them a ride in a plane over the valley north and south of the. field. 32 boys and family members enjoyed the plane ride. Their April Pack meeting will be held Friday April 28. It will be a kite flying contest between the boys and their fathers, using home made kites. The boys have also made space helmets and parachutes. Mr. and Mrs. Afton Montague and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Twede and their granddaugh- - ter, Cristie, from Salt Lake visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs Walter Butler recently spending the day with them.
