to see stuness and consideration dents even in elementary schools serving as tors working as aides with disabled children befriending someone in need or lending a hand to each other in positive ways I mention these events not at anyone’s I suspect that most of those involved in such and acts of kindness would prefer anonymity would not seek personal publicity except possibly to generate community awareness and support for their efforts I mention these people because most adults in our area are not physically art We wish all our customers present in our schools to see firsthand how caring and concerned today’s students really are Oftentimes the media portrays today’s youth but my experience as principal in negatively is that students yean past and as superintendent today are more canng and concerned about others than ever I hope our I know that one of llie qualities schools — along with parents — impart to students is a strong sense of concern for others It is a quality much needed in our world I am very appreciative of the faculty staff student leaders and community volunteers who students with to develop provide opportunities such qualities I congratulate and salute those students who take advantage of such opportunities when provided I invite you as parents and patrons to visit any of our schools and I support the el forts of our students as they involve themselves in service to others employees aqd the communities we serve a Merry Christmasand 7 HappjNew V Year! 7I School items for publication need to be submitted by Friday at 5 pm each week to:
