Show yy n Wednesday September 15 2004 Sanpete Messenger Sanpete Dylan Heath Yardley On Aug 15 2004 Dylan Heath Yardley was sent from heaven to his parents Jason and Heather Yardley of Salt Lake City He arrived at the St Marks Hospital weighing 6 lbs 4 oz His maternal grandparents are Morlin and Karen Cox of Manti and the late Heath Simpson His paternal grandparents are Mel and Debra Yardly of Aurora Gunnison Valley Hospital births pounds and was named Savanna Lee Sorensen On Sept 2 2004 a boy was born to Daniel and Erin Quarnberg of Redmond weighed 71bs 14oz He and was named Kempton Kendal Haley Ann cently celebrated Duckwitz re- her first birth- Haley’s parents are Greg and Erika Duckwitz Grand parents And Kay Art and Ruth King His grandmothers are Delaine Chappell of Lyman and Karen Horn of Salt Lake City rado Springs Joscelynn enjoyed her birthday with a party at the city pai k In attendance were her mom and dad John and Keuta Oldroyd lOOth-FeFem Robertson was bom on the Sept 14 1904 in Fairview She was the second of eight children bom to Bert and Geneva Tucker who were farmers Fem worked on the farm milking cows and hauling hay with her father who called her Georgi because she was supposed to have been a boy When she wasn’t working on die farm Fem would tend the other children Her favorite memories of growing up in Fairview were the holidays On July 4 and 24 live bands would play in Fairview and Fern’s mother would make root beer and treat them to cold drinks During the Christmas season there would be a dance every night from Christmas to New Years Fem remembers attending old silent movies in Fairview’s old store was a Fern’s transportation horse which she loved to ride Fem troearned two phies She still loves horses and has a collection of horse figurines Fem was a nanny in Salt Lake City for a time and also worked serving food to the miners with her sister Anna Fem married her loving husband John Henry (Jack) Robertson on Nov 30 1928 They made their home in Fountain Green where they raised and herded sheep in the mountains above Fairview Petersen enter the Provo Missionary Training Center on Sepl 29 for three weeks He will then be sent to the Lima Peru Missionary Training Center for six weeks to learn Spanish Levi ‘will Mandy Nicholls and Ben Marquardson Farewell Torn and Linda Nicholls of Jace Wilson Ephraim are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter Mandy to Ben Marquardson son of Fred and lolly Maruardson of West Jordan Ben and Mandy will be married for time and all eternity on Friday Sept 26 2004 at the Utah Temple The Timpanogos couple will then lie honored at a Jace Wilson Debra Wilson of Gunnison His grandparents aie Morell and Sherrol Snow of Manti and Beth and the late Hyrum Wilson of Gunnison nap! woi king as a registered nurse at the University of Utah Medical Center Ben is a graduate of West Jordan Iigh le is cm rently working at Hexcel Corporation as a lead manager in the recreation devision The couple will make their first home in West Joidnn Nay-Kei- th Jake Hart Chile Osorno John and Neva Mcdonald and Martha Duckwitz Heinz Marie Oldroyd Marie Oldroyd celebrated her first birthday on Sept 5 2004 in Mt Pleasant while the family was home on leave from Foil Carson in Colo- Joscelynn grandparents Risa Beebe Boyd Bennett and Danny & Maries Oldroyd Charmuine and Bill Atwell and Alene Avery and lots of other aunts uncles cousins and friends Joscelynn is a happy little girl who likes books and music She especially enjoys playing with her cat and dog Mission Jake Hart son of Stephen and Ranae Hart of Moroni has been called to serve in the Chile Osorno Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-daSaints He will enter the Missionary Training Center on Oct 6 2004 Jake's grandparents are Bob and Ramona Harris of Moroni ut' r f T £ Jake Hart Robertson Amy Nay and Sheffield Keith and served as Fem loved to sing in the Fountain Green Choir She directed plays and also performed in them She was great in drama She also cooked school lunch Jack and Fem had one child Carroll Bert Robertson who lives in Fairview Fem has three granddaughters and seven Fem now lives with her son in Fairview and enjoys cook-- ‘ ing cleaning and taking care of the beautiful flowers in her yard Fem also enjoys making afghans On Saturday Sept 18 2004 the family will honor her with an open house for her 100th birthday The open house will be held from pm at 25700 N 1000 East in Fairview (one mile north of Fairv iew on Milbum Rd the house with the green helicopter it is the “lodge” behind
