and Lillie Larsen Thomas Married Wilma Hansen on February 4 1967 in Mayfield Utah later solemnized in the Manti LDS Phoebe Bassett Temple Worked for 34 years at the sewing plant in Manti Utah currently owned and operated by Rivers West of Seattle Washington Member of the Gunnison 3rd LDS Ward Served in the Utah National Guard Sheldon loved the mountains made beautiful guns and did intricate leather work He was a painter singer and guitar player Sheldon strived for perfection in all that he did He will be truly missed by all that new him Survived by wife one daughter Tamara serving an LDS Mission in Liberal Kansas Mother Lillie Thomas Curtis Funeral services for Sadie Phoebe Bassett Curtis age 79 were held Friday September 29 1995 in the Salina Stake Center She passed away September 25 1995 in Richfield Utah Sadie was bom March 18 1916 in Ivings Idaho She was the youngest of 8 children to LeRoy and Celia Woodland Bassett She married Morris H Curtis July 9 1957 in the Los Angeles Temple She was active in the LDS Church serving as Relief Society President and working in other organizations She was a member and President of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers Sadie enjoyed crocheting and won many awards with her handy work She was a good wife and homemaker She was noted for her cooking and her bread She is survived by her husband of 61 years Morris and five children and Sadie Curtis their spouses: Morris L and Renee Curtis of Porterville CA GarFaye Jensen of Magna Brice L and Janet Curtis of Sigurd Joycelynn and George Smith of Van Zant MO Ellen and QUITCHUMPAH ALLOTMENT Fishlake National Forest The forest Service has completed an Environmental Assessment on a term grazproposal to issue a ing permit for the Quitchumpah Allotment of the Richfield Ranger District Fishlake National Forest The permit would authorize the grazing of cattle on National Forest System (NFS) lands in this allotment beginning with the 1996 operating season and ending after the 2005 operating season Under the permit 813 cows plus calves would be allowed to graze the allotment annually during the approximate period of June 11 through Sep- tember 30 Timely issuance of a new permit for this allotment is needed if cattle grazing is to be authorized for the ensuing 1996 through 2005 term The allotment is located in Sevier County Utah about 20 miles east of Salina Based on the analysis documented in this Environmental Assessment the Richfield District Ranger Fishlake National Forest will decide whether to authorize cattle grazing as proposed eliminate cattle
