different kinds of tests to practice before you take the real thing? You used to have to come to the library to practice but now you can practice to your hearts content from the safety of your home The same caller had also the Utah State heard that Pioneer Library’s web page is accessible from home with the right numbers (All sorts of tidbits are found on the state's web page poems fast facts government formation magazine articles photographs census numbers the scoop on the counties and much much more) Accessibility is just a phone call away- There has been a rash of fines paid with pennies lately Up to thirty and forty at a time! think there’s some sort of subconscious (could even be conscious) rebellion in paying overdue fines with pendon’t want nies It makes a statement to pay my overdue fines so will aggravate the librarian with pennies It’s working Carinne Lang won the Beauty title and Bnana Carlson was the Photogenic win- The auspicious Delta City Library Board will be meeting Thursday April 4 00 p m in the library conference room We will have to be on our best behavior since two new appointees will be joining us Roseann Young and Brent Berkley Nobody better mention that elections are coming up It’s better to catch the new inductees by surprise One afternoon just happened to gawk out the window and people were actually picnicking in the arbor There was even a little suntanning involved When we get the vines planted and established it will be such a wonderful retreat It’s hard to believe but Terry celebrated her 7 blissful year as a library employee this week T ime flies when you’re having fun have been listening to Brad Mcltzer’s The Millionaires I’ve been riveted to the car tape player for several miles On one of the trips had a little accident with a pop Dumped it right over on the scat and into the case submerging 5 Now have to do a little repair work on the tape or buy a new one so it could take me quite a while to finish think I’ll go look for the book Keep those pages turning cassettes rolling (in a pop free environment) and videos reeling Marian & officers unite Rachael Alert People watching television or listening to the radio may soon be enlisted to help The find an abducted child shrill beeps of the Emergency Alert System will now be used to get out details about the victim and the suspected kidnapper Using the Rachael Alert radio stations will announce the abductions jnd TV stations will air the child's photograph and in a provide important information “crawl" at the bottom of the television Broadcasters screen Curtain call is always welcome “Oliver Twist” Is a Great Success On Tuesday 26 March 2002 Oelta North 4® and 5 graders presented their annual school play This year's production “Oliver Twist" was another outstanding performance by young Busy Bee thespians The program was presented three times during the day At the 9 00 a m and 00 p m performance Delta North’s through 5 grade students along with Delta South 4® and 5 graders enjoyed the show An evening program was held at 7 00 p m and was very well attended with over 275 parents and friends present This year's play was rected choreographed and accompanied by DNES teachers Patricia Schcna LaDawna Panhorst and Lance Atkinson Everything from the set design to props to accents to singing dancing and acting w as perfect! because the public becomes part of the solution “Within moments we will have thousands of people ready willing and able to help" said Kal Tarr xeculive Director of the Utah Chiefs of Police
