reward leading to the arrest and conviction of the pcrson(s) responsible for the damage of the coop's property While the majority of vandalism has occurred in areas in Western Utah the most recent incident and by far the most dangerous and life threatening took place at the Gondcr Substation located on the McGill Highway Someone had entered the substation and released oil from an oil circuit breaker t energized as well as a stand by reactor belonging to Siena Pacific Power These events have initiated a high level of concern from Mt Wheeler Power cause of both the equipment damage and the extreme danger of the vandalism “We take these types of events very seriously" said Jesse Murdock Mt Wheeler Power Engineering Manager “We definitely had the potential for a catastrophic result involving the substation The person(s) that entered the sub undoubtedly received a shower of oil contained in the equipment - while the oil itself is harmless if the breaker would have opciatcd during the prank the end result would have been fatal ” lake DEADLINE MONDAY NOON Wondering About Your Future?
