Show Millard County Chronicle Progress July 5 199Q Page 5 COMMUNITY EVENTS Attention CPR course considered Fillmore Ambulance Team i considering having a CPR course andor an EMT course The CPR course (cardiac pulmonary resuscitation) will be 2 weeks in length It will consist of 2 nights each week for approximately 3 hours We feel it is important for everyone to know this procedure We have had a lot of interest from people for this course The EMT course (emergency medical technician) will be a 10 week course It consists of all day Saturdays and an evening during each week This course is very useful for knowing what to do in emergency situations How to splint broken limbs poisoning emergency childbirth how to recognize different symptoms and what to do in each situation will be taught This course will begin in January of 1991 We need to know within a few weeks the number of people interested so we can plan it with the state If you are interested in one or both classes please contact Kent Dalton at or clip out the following and 3 or or Ross Olson at mail it to Kent Dalton Box 658 Fillmore Utah 84631 4-- Camp Catch the pirate ship headed to Adelaide Park in Kanosh!
