had been married in Elko on May 4 He and his new bride Veronica live in Wendover Glen Taylor and his family were up north recently on business and visiting with friends and family Howard and Betty Jo Western have been visiting in St George recently They have moved into their new home next door to Arvilla Workman Armond and Maxine Bouchard went to Provo Tuesday to get their new pickup They went out to dinner to celebrate the new purchase Saturday Cherie Morris Karolyn Warnick Sue Dutson Annalee and Glenda Johnson went to Gunnison to their Relief Society Women’s Conference The featured speakers support They report she is doing well Heather Hardy is the new baby daughter of Allan and Danise Hardy The cute little miss arrived at the FILLMORE Angie Green On Tuesday May 3 Colleen Burnham of San Mateo CA came to Fillmore to spend a week with her mother Ula Maycock and daughter Natalee Teeples of Holden Natalee drove to the Salt Lake City Airport to pick her up on Tuesday and will be returning her there on Monday after celebrating Mother’s Day with Ula and other members of the family left Matt and Lee Townsley Fillmore early in December and drove to Imperial CA to the home of their daughter marcie Townsley where they remained until about March 15 enjoying Marcie’s new home cooking shopping walking the dog and Matt enjoyed working on leveling the backyard and doing some landscaping Lee and Marcie went to Mexico on two different occasions to shop and enjoy Matt and touring On Thanksgiving Lee’s son Bob and his wife Debra and their children came from Riverside CA and spent the day Motoring home on March 15 proved to be a battle with a winter snowstorm They still had two more trips to make so they rested Vh days and then away they went destination Corvallis OR to the home of their son John his wife Renee and their two sons John and Jason John and Renee are the attending school in Corvallis at University While they were there John and DC Renee went to Washington where John had several interviews for While they were gone employment Matt and Lee looked after their home They stayed and the two grandsons two weeks but before leaving for home they all went for a 50 mile ride along the coast Among other things they enand joyed a light house the coast guard a Mexican dinner After arriving home from Corvallis they rested for a few days then packed Mar up the car again and headed for Vista CA They at one time lived in Mar Vista and they looked forward to The seeing their many loving friends to purpose of this trip was in answer an invitation they received from the old Bishop of the Mar Vi ta Ward The church which they had enjoyed was benew ing demolished to make way for a had been sent to one Invitations this to ever had belonged who everyone ward to attend a commorative dinner and program honoring this beautiful 60 1928 year old building It was built in with donated labor and much of the material It was a fan shaped chapel built like a theater Payson Hospital on April 28 She was welcomed home by seven older brothers and sisters years ago the Hinckley High School closed but we still have a very active alumni Over 200 people attended the banquet
