themselves associated The quality of being reassuring complete— unbroken— unimpaired-mor- al soundness honesty fulfillment in the discharge of of contracts-atrusts This is the quality that gives assurance that as things seem to be they are Washington said “I hope I shall always possess Firmness and virtue enough to maintain what consider the most enviable of all titles the character of an honest man” Alexander Pope added: “An honest man’s the noblest work of God” And from Herbert Spencer: “Not education but is man's character greatest need man’s greatest safeguard” Integrity is simply something that we are inside ourselves It is in a sense what should be and what is said to be is something that can be counted on without side consideration Kim and Jody Wilde from Croydon visited in Sutherland with grandparents the Heber Roses We often think what we are going to do tomorrow next week next time or even next year We often plan and we often postpone Sometimes after we have postponed we push ourselves at a fevered pace and sometimes forget the effectiveness of quiet consistency With our human imperfections there will always be things we shall wish we had done differently and always there are errors and often we brood and blame ourselves for our failures There are those who justify themselves too much and those who blame themselves too much It isn’t always easy to know where to draw the line between the two A conscientious concern for whatever is less than it ought to be is an and essential quality of There is also a destroying character factor if the mistakes are magnified There is no perfection m any of us In this we can take consideration for others with the assurance that we are not alone in our postponing our inconsistencies and mistakes Hunter Betty
