Church serv ing in leadership and teaching positions in Relief Society MIA Primary Sunday School and Genealogy She and her husband served a stake mission and she was a devote Temple worker in love and service to her family church and friends She was the mother of 10 children An infant son Harold Eugene preceded her in death She is survived by the following children: Alice (Mrs Wm Frank) Adams UT Thursday after having spend the holidays at Kanab at the home of their daughter Rawlene Hansen and family Blanche Jensen has returned home from West Jordan where she spent the holidays with her son Max and family Thad Lamar Anderson died Dec 23 1985 in the VA Hospital in Salt Lake City following a long illness due to kidney failure He was born Sept 18 1942 in Delta son of Melvin and Donna Blanchard Anderson His father preceded him in death He was educated in Oak City elementary and graduated from Delta High School He filled a mission to California He graduated from Trade Technical College in Provo in Auto Mechanics He served in the Air Force until his health forced him to retire after a short time He managed a service station for Chevron in Payson and Provo until his kidneys failed completely and he went on dialysis He married Jane Amilia Riley of Pasadena CA on Jan 21 1966 He graduated BYU in Psychology BS He U of U with a Masters graduated Degree in Social work He interned 3 months in Grand Junction CO at the VA Hospital where he helped many veterans upgrade their discharges from dishonorable to a better discharge He received the Governor’s Award for Excellence of a Handicapped Person He lived in Provo Salt lake and Carlsbad NM then 3 years ago returned to Sandy Utah In Carlsbad NM he lost his left leg due to his illness and spent the rest of his live in a wheelchair but it didn't stop his activity Three years ago he became interested in computers and took classes He became a member of a computer club and one of the leaders spending much time helping "ther people with their computers and making programs to upgrade the club library He was active all his life in the LDS Church At the time of his death he was President of Sunday School of Granite 11th ward in Sandy Utah He is survived by his wife and son of Salt Lake City mother Donna B Anderson of Oak City Utah brothers Roger Don of Oak City and Meldon J Anderson of McGill NV His funeral
