attended including: Bill his wife Joyce Goddard and their five children and a all of West Virginia They arrived Aug 14 and stayed through Aug 18 Shirley and Vern Brunson and three of children and a granddaughter Tooele: Jim Goddard and two daughters of Cedar City Ralph and Linda Goddard and three children of Monroe also attended Three grandchildren and five did not attend This is the first time the family has been together in 10 years so they getting really enjoyed visiting with the children and acquainted of course eating from the grand of food array Some of the families stayed overnight going home on Sunday Fern The first part of August Holdaway enjoyed a trip and a visit with her three sons John who is a in French and music teachers Canada Alberta River Peace came to Fillmore and spent a few days with Fern after which they drove to San Francisco where they visited Scott Holdaway then on to Spokane for a few days’ visit with Don Holdaway and his wife and family On Aug 21 Marjorie McBride Green and their sister Angie Millie Pace of Delta drove to Spanish Fork to visit with their sister and to celeHunsaker Jacqueline brate her birthday While they were there they also visited with Jacqueline’s daughter Sherrie Jensen of Helen M formerly Rogers Fillmore who now lives in West Valley City reports that she has from a 3200 mile just returned trip of a tour of central Canada She enjoyed seeing the cities of and WinniRegina Lethbridge peg the latter being the 4th largest of Canada with a population in The Red and Assimboine 600000 Rivers converge at Winnipeg and the tour group enjoyed a cruise on a river ship also a tour on a British double decker bus of the beautiful She also visited city of Winnipeg many interesting places in Montana No and So Dakota and Wyoming Mr and Mrs Thorpe Robison were very honored on Thursday Aug 8 1985 to go to Salt Lake City and pick up their son Gerald who just returned from the England London Mission They also were honored to have their whole family home on Friday Their son Alan and his wife and three children came from Myton Utah and their daughter Barbara and her husband and new baby son came from Holden They had a
