Lowell Leland Wilkins age 3 died January 19 1985 at Delta Utah He was born January 18 1902 in Hinckley Utah to Frederick Wallace and Pheobe Latitica Jacaway Wilkins He married Nena Alldredge Talbot in Hinckley on July 8 1929 The marriage was later solemizcd in the Manti LDS Temple He was employed by and reitred from the Union Pacific Railroad He worked for Brush Wellman for five years He was a Lynndyl Town police officer for 3 years He was watermaster for 2 years He was an active member ol the LDS Church where his activities included President of the Young Men’s Association Mutual Improvement Ward Clerk and Councilor in the Bishopric for 25 years He was also volved in sport activities He is survived by his wife of Lynndyl son and daughters: Leland Ray Salt Lake City Mrs Marion (Barbara) Anderson Oak City Mrs Junior (Enla) Barid Fredonia Arizona Linda Sutton Lynndyl 16 grandchildren He was and 26 great grandchildren preceded in death by a son Robert D Funeral services were 14 died January 19 1985 at Salt Lake City She was born December 5 1970 at Salt Lake City to Carl Dee and Kathleen Knight Bennett She was an 8th grade student in the Delta Middle School on the volleyball team a member of the Sugarloafers Motorcycle Club and a BYU Toot ball fan She is survived by her parents of Delta grandparents: Newel and Venice Knight and Adaliade Bennett all of Delta Cemetery Mrs Anna Billings returned home Jan 9th on Wednesday from a great vacation and holiday with her family in Utah in She spent Christmas Springs ille New Years in Logan and on the 6th she spent in Holiday with family member She is also glad to be back home again in Delta and to her work at the Genealogical library where she does extraction work We spent last Sunday in Marysville with the Keith Barben family The scenery is so beautiful on the way over there it is a joy to go Ruth Steele recently returned home from a 3 month visit w ith her daughter Sharon Stromberg in Garthersburg Maryland It was a very interesting and fun filled visit One trip we took was to Lancaster Pa where Sharon was the Key note Speaker at the Eastern Business Teachers Association Meeting of 400 teachers Traveling around the county was an have never seen more inspiration beautiful fall weather the trees and bushes were a blaze with vivid colors The weather was perfect in the 70 degrees Sharon came home with her motl er to celebrate Christmas in Salt Lake City and Evanston Wyo with their tamiliesWhcn they boarded their plane at National Airport Dec 14th the weather was 72 degrees Later the Pilot said 32 degrees in Salt Lake City but when we at rived there it was 21 degrees and snowing We stayed at the Al and Georgette home They have two Witkamp daughters Rheannon and Britney Ann On Dec 20th they attended a birthday party to celebrate Ruth’s sister she lives Beth Brasher 75th Birthday with her daughter Jean On Dec 23 Ruth and Sharon drove to Evanston Wyo and had an early ( hristnias dinner at the Sherline and Niel Heyborne home Kevin and Susan Rachael lev borne and family Ryan and Ani from Rock Springs Wyo tended also the Bruce and Marilyn Heyborne and family Chad Dustin kerby and Bradey from Evanston All of Ruth’s family was there Wyo Christmas day Ruth and Sharon had Christmas dinner at the home of sister Bonnie and Garf Maxfield Sherline came from and Niel Heyborne f vanston Wyo for Dinner and a fun afternoon of visiting Sharon flew home Dec 30th to begin a new job Director of Federal women’s Program nation wide she will have a display and pamplets at one of the Inauguration parties Saturday Jan Washington DC took Bruce Heyborne Grandson Ruth to Evanston Wyo to celebrate 19th in I Millard Count) New Years with dinner at the Niel Heyborne home Bonnie and Garf Maxfeild brought Ruth home after visiting with them 2 weeks Mr & Mrs Joe Fullmer and Mr & Mrs Jay Bunker took a weeks vacation in the warm town of Sun City and Kingman Arizona They had fun at Nevada
