America has to its credit over 25 hits including: I Need You, Sandman, Tin Man, Lonely Man, Sister Golden Hair, and the infamous Horse With No Name. I 1 Setting a friendly mood with their easy going music, the audience was wonderfully responsive, and the atmosphere was and generally excited happy Halfway through the performance, lead singer, lyricist, pianist, and guitarist Dewey Bunnell shouted out, "These aren't oldies, this is classic rock back baby1" Coming onstage for an encore, the band played their final song for the evening, perhaps the greatest America classic, Horse With No Name. After finishing up the perthe band formance, retreated from the stage with the promise that riffs and drum beats, the music of Kansas has had a tremendous impact on the modern music culture. Arguably the single factor that set this band apart has been the inclusion of member Ftobby Stcinhardt, who not only sings lead vocals but also plays the electric violin.
