A native of Salt Lake City, Duncan spent his childhood summers on his grandparents ranch in Wyoming where he developed a deep appreciation for nature and rural life. These influences are reflected in his work today which is characterized by families, farms and nature scenes. My paintings reflect the things I love. I am interested in the ways we Eire all alike and the feelings that are universal. I also paint out of concern that we are losing sight of things that have a profound impact on our souls and explained well-bein- g, Duncan. We all need a bit of nature in our lives.
