Conducted by maestro Gary... Batman... Phantom... Caldwell, the orchestra will begin transforming the Cox Performing Arts Theater into Halloween madness at 8 p.m. Percussionist Kirk Sharp will enhance the evenings haunted and eerie atmosphere with his Xylophone solo of Fantasy on Japanese Woodprints, Op. 21 by Hovhaness. Special musical "tricks and treats will include the Main Theme from Batman, by Elfman Bartek; Ride of the Yalkj ries,: by Wagner; and The Empire Strikes Back Medley, by William Whitney. Topping off the All Saints Eve concert will be selections from The Phantom of the the Opera by WebberCuster. A pre concert lecture with Ruliert Potter will begin at 7:45 p.m. If you want to get a head sneak preview of the spooks. Ticket are $10 at the Dixie Center Ticket Office. Students with ID cards will be admitted free of charge on Thursday, and are $4 on Friday. !
