To help kick off eleven radiant women showed their stuff in what was less of a competition, and more of a display of Dixie spirit. These students of Dixie College engaged in friendly competition for the rule over D week activities, title of and the , v - -- awe-inspiri- Master of Ceremonies, Jonathan Morell, wisecracked and uttered audience-incitinremarks about dating, courtship, and the differences between men and women. Crow ned as Miss Dixie Spirit, a title going to the contestant radiating the most Dixie charm, was Jill Wilcox. Wilcox engaged the audience with a beautiful piano piece. Playing the role of a small child forced into music lessons, Wilcox gave the audience a glimpse of the piano-playin- g youngster she once Lynzi Kidman, named Second Attendant, showed her winning personality by thanking the people she has spent the most time with this past year and by giving them gifts to remember her by, such as the choir dress she left for Dr. Kim.
