Show The Dixie Sun 'age 10 Arts Ent April 8, 1997 accent editor: Chaundra Stewart Providing Sweet Tooth Satisfaction When I left for Salt Lake this weekend, I planned a restaurant review for this week's writing contribution to the Dixie student entertainment listings. As the situation turned out, I was ill and all I wanted was desserts. I am now passing on the best desserts for flu victims in Salt Lake City. How does a piece of white chocolate raspberry cheesecake sound to you? Well, I 'N thought that it sounded scrumptious, and was not disappointed. The Olive Garden, a restaurant that few people are unfamiliar with, is currently featuring this fantasy for the taste buds. Again requiring power tools and hardware items to detach my tongue from the roof of my mouth, this qualified as cheesecake. A taste sensation that we can experience in St. George is the brownie dessert from Chili's. Although I am not a chocolate lover, I enjoyed this delight also. It is a well known favorite, the brownie, ice cream, chocolate sauce, and nuts number. Though it was good, I would suggest a homemade solution to your sweet tooth, as the price was rather steap. Ice cream is another craving that demands satisfaction. "Love Potion 31" a passionate flavor from Baskin Robbins, is a potion to die for. Again going with a white chocolate and rasberry motif, this exotic flavor adds hollow dark choclate chips filled with rasberries. I don't think that this creation is quite as easily duplicated for thrift purposes, so I suggest gong out for this one. Although not a dessert, I count the raspberry lemonade from Ruby River, among my favorite treats. (No I don't always have a raspberry fascination.) Pulp is always a sign to me that the juice is fresh. Even with the inches of snow up north this weekend, the lemonade was refreshing. Ignore the Surgeon General's warning about saturated fats, and satisfy your sweet tooth. By CHAUNDRA STEWART TIIL DiXII.
