Show Page The Dixie Sun 8 February 25, 1997 Dixie College bands and choirs combine for concert SUN NEWS SERVICE Two bands, two choirs, three ensembles, and three conductors from the Dixie College Music Department and Southwest Symphony, will combine their musical talents for a concert (Thursday) Feb. 27, at 8 p.m. in the Cox Performing Arts Center, Dixie Center, (425 S. 700 East). The Symphonic Band and Jazz Band will be conducted by Gary Caldwell; the Flute and Clarinet Choir ensem bles will be conducted by Launa Whitehead; and the Chamber Choir, with accompanying Southwest Symphony Strings Chamber Orchestra, and the Concert Choir will be conducted by Dr. Jong Kim. Tickets for the Dixie College Music Department Concert can be purchased at the door for $3 per person or $7 per family, No children under five please. &b dlWiU H33?
